Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Evergreen, CO is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under five years old. By providing essential food assistance, WIC offers nutritious groceries, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support, all at no cost to qualifying families. Our personalized approach includes nutrition consultations tailored to individual needs, along with resources for medical and dental care, health insurance, and more. We also offer guidance on topics such as meal planning, maintaining healthy weights, and navigating breastfeeding while working. To benefit from WIC services, individuals must reside in Colorado, have a family income below the eligibility guidelines, and either be pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a child under five. Families already receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid are automatically eligible. Foster children under five also qualify.
