Located in Evergreen, CO, The Action Center is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and support to households facing financial hardships. Each year, we connect families with vital resources during critical times such as the Back-to-School season, Thanksgiving, and the holidays. Our School Supply Distribution program ensures that nearly 5,000 children in Jefferson County, including those experiencing homelessness, receive backpacks filled with supplies to start their academic year confidently. During Thanksgiving, we distribute nearly 1,400 meal kits, serving 5,200 individuals through a convenient drive-thru setup that protects the comfort and safety of families. As the holiday season approaches, our Holiday Gift Shop has been making wishes come true for children since 1971, allowing parents to select meaningful gifts for their loved ones. We believe in fostering a caring community where every family can thrive, and we invite Jefferson County residents and those in need to join us in these essential programs by pre-registering and providing necessary documentation.
