Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Estes Park, CO, is dedicated to supporting the health and nutrition of families through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program. WIC offers essential services at no cost to eligible Colorado families, including nutritious groceries, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and comprehensive referrals to medical and dental care, health insurance, and child care services. Our mission is to promote the well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women and young children under the age of five, providing personalized nutrition consultations and educational resources on meal planning, maintaining healthy weights, and more. To qualify for WIC, residents must live in Colorado, be pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a child under five, with a family income below specific guidelines. Families receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid are automatically eligible. Foster children under five also qualify.
