The Essential Needs Grant Program for Cancer Patients, part of the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation in Eaton, CO, is dedicated to alleviating the financial burdens faced by individuals battling cancer. Our mission is to provide crucial financial assistance that helps cover essential daily needs, ensuring that patients can focus on their treatment without the added stress of financial strain. We award grants monthly to both adult and pediatric patients who are currently undergoing treatment or have recently completed it, with applications requiring medical verification from a healthcare professional. Each application is thoughtfully assessed based on financial circumstances and personal situations, prioritizing those who are uninsured or living at or below the poverty level. Grants are available up to $750 for adults and $1,000 for children, with most applicants able to receive support on a one-time or twice-lifetime basis. In urgent cases, we offer emergency grants that can be approved within 48 hours when a caseworker identifies immediate need.
