Fuzzy Socks understands that caregivers often feel overwhelmed by their child's challenging behaviors. From constant screaming and calls from school to the struggle of prying video games from their fingers, these experiences can make anyone wish for an escape. Children communicate their feelings through their behaviors, yet caregivers might find themselves without the right tools to decode this language. Fuzzy recognizes that many resort to temporary solutions, like giving their child a tablet for some peace and quiet. With a deep commitment to their clients’ well-being, Fuzzy specializes in supporting kids, teens, and adults dealing with mental health issues and developmental disabilities such as Autism and ADHD. Drawing from experience as a former special education teacher, they employ a unique blend of behavioral therapies and play therapy, guiding children to express their emotions in constructive ways, while also providing strategies for parents to manage behavioral challenges at home and school. In these times, especially with the ongoing effects of COVID, seeking help can feel daunting, but Fuzzy believes in taking this journey one step at a time, ensuring each client feels supported and understood.
