Emily Olsen is a dedicated somatic (body-oriented) therapist whose work is grounded in the belief that each person's body holds an intrinsic wisdom. This wisdom is essential not just for healing from modern life's traumas, but also for manifesting the life one has always envisioned. Often, experiences such as trauma, loss, or disconnection can create a gap between individuals and their innate healing abilities. Clients may feel lost, overwhelmed, or trapped in unhelpful behaviors. Emily’s goal is to assist them in tuning into their inner wisdom, walking alongside them as a compassionate guide on their healing journey. Together, she fosters a collaborative environment that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. With specialized training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and a background as a trauma-informed yoga teacher, she employs various tools in her sessions to engage and release unresolved emotions or trauma stored in the body, facilitating psychological and physiological healing. Through this supportive process, individuals can break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Navigating human experiences can be challenging, especially in these trying times.
