At The Action Center in Conifer, CO, we are dedicated to providing immediate, compassionate support to individuals and families facing hardship. Our mission is to stabilize lives through essential services including emergency food assistance, clothing, and personal items in a welcoming environment where respect and kindness are prioritized. By connecting clients to numerous resources, such as rental and utility assistance, we focus on empowering people to achieve lasting change and greater stability. We offer a five-day food supply with up to 12 visits within 12 months, access to our clothing bank once a month, and mail services without the need for an appointment. Additionally, we feature senior food commodities on the first Thursday of every month, requiring pre-registration to ensure availability. While appointments are essential for utilizing our services, we strive to accommodate same-day requests when possible, as we understand the urgent needs of our community.
