Everyday Eats, a vital program under the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income individuals aged 60 and above in Conifer, CO. Our mission is to ensure that no senior goes hungry by providing a monthly food box filled with nutritious non-perishable proteins, powdered or UHT milk, juice, cereals, and a variety of canned or dried fruits and vegetables. Alongside these essentials, we also offer refrigerated cheese, nutrition education, and simple recipes to inspire healthy meal preparation. Our distribution network spans numerous counties, including Jefferson, Arapahoe, and Denver, with homebound delivery options available in select areas. We partner with local agencies to facilitate outreach and certification, ensuring accessibility to this critical food assistance for our senior community. To participate, individuals must meet specific income requirements and age criteria, allowing us to serve those in greatest need. Together, we work to nourish our older adults and promote their health across our service area.
