Whole Kids Co., led by Christie, a Licensed Professional Counselor with credentials including MA, LPC, BCBA, and TBRI, embodies a holistic approach to therapy for children, teens, and adults. As a parent of a child with specialized needs, Christie fully understands the significance of a whole-child perspective in therapy. She believes that whole parents raise whole kids, which is reflected in the comprehensive services the facility offers, aimed not only at children but their families as well. Whole Kids Co. serves clients through a variety of services including psychological testing, counseling, ABA, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, social groups, nutritional and wellness training, parenting training, and educational advocacy. A cornerstone of WKC’s approach is the commitment to healing the whole child by understanding the roots of their pain and trauma in their unique stories and brain functioning. All staff members, from the receptionist to the ABA therapists, are trauma-informed, utilizing Trust-Based Relational Intervention principles in their interactions with clients. They are passionate about supporting families, particularly those with high behavioral needs, ADHD, sensory integration challenges, learning disorders, and trauma related to foster/adoption.
