Everyday Eats serves Canon City, CO, as a vital resource for low-income individuals aged 60 and above through the federally recognized Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of seniors by providing them with monthly food boxes filled with nutritious, non-perishable items including proteins, milk, juice, cereal, and canned or dried fruits and vegetables. Each food box also contains helpful nutrition education and recipes to promote healthy eating. We operate multiple distribution sites throughout the area, with dedicated teams and partner agencies ensuring that no older adult goes hungry. Homebound seniors in Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, and Denver counties can also access convenient delivery options. To qualify for our food assistance, seniors must meet specific income requirements based on household size. We are committed to making nutritious food accessible to our community's older adults, empowering them to lead healthier lives in their golden years.
