Financial Assistance

Located in Calhan, CO, Patches of Light is dedicated to supporting families facing financial hardships due to catastrophic health issues affecting their children. Our mission is to provide critical financial assistance through help with utilities, housing support, gas cards, and grocery cards, aimed at alleviating some of the burdens during difficult times. To initiate assistance, applications must be submitted by hospital staff who work directly with affected families, ensuring that each case is treated with utmost confidentiality and care. We understand the urgency of financial aid, and thus we process applications within 2-3 weeks. We encourage hospital staff to confirm the receipt of applications via email to ensure timely processing, as direct communication from families regarding applications is not permitted.
