Everyday Eats, a crucial initiative of the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of low-income individuals aged 60 and over in Brighton, Colorado. By providing monthly food boxes filled with non-perishable proteins, powdered milk, juice, cereal, canned or dried fruits and vegetables, and nutritious recipes, we aim to support healthy diets for seniors in need. Our program ensures that eligible older adults not only receive essential nutrition but also benefit from nutrition education. We operate various distribution sites across the metro Denver area, collaborating with community partners to facilitate outreach and the distribution of grocery boxes, ensuring that no senior goes hungry. Homebound delivery options are available in specific counties to further support those who are unable to visit our locations. Our service area covers a wide range of counties, allowing us to reach those who qualify based on age and income guidelines.
