The Colorado Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is committed to supporting low-income households in Breckenridge and throughout Colorado by providing crucial monthly benefits that empower families to purchase healthy and nutritious food. To determine eligibility for food assistance, a convenient pre-screening tool is available online. Applications can be submitted through the Colorado PEAK website, the MyCOBenefits app, or via paper application, with the approval process generally taking between 7 to 30 days. While SNAP benefits currently cannot be used for online purchases at most retailers, some locations allow for EBT card use for in-store pick-up orders, and authorized representatives can be appointed to assist with purchases.
