Paul Montgomery

Paul Montgomery, LPCC, understands that the state of the world can often feel daunting and heartbreaking, leading to feelings of immobilization. Many find their potential stifled by the overwhelming challenges of advocating for themselves in their communities, the world, and even within their own thoughts. He recognizes that it's common to feel anxious and alone, often caught in internal conflict. Paul is dedicated to serving individuals who experience marginalized identities and sees himself as a co-conspirator in their journey. He specializes in issues of identity and non-normative experiences, particularly in the contexts of gender and sexuality, extending beyond traditional frameworks. Paul strives to cultivate a collaborative environment, empowering clients to honor, listen to, and nurture the complicated and vulnerable parts of their inner worlds. Through therapeutic modalities such as Internal Family Systems, Buddhist psychology, and narrative therapy, he guides clients in healing those parts and releasing their burdens. Life presents challenges that can feel insurmountable, and Paul is here to support individuals in discovering their inherent capacity to be present with themselves during these difficult moments.
