Jennifer Abbott

Jennifer Abbott is a compassionate therapist who believes that hope is a fundamental right for everyone, despite not everyone having access to it. She successfully works with both adolescents and adults to help them navigate through challenging issues, including addiction, substance abuse, trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), relationship difficulties, and overwhelming emotions. Recognizing that most individuals face multiple problems simultaneously, Jennifer utilizes her expertise to address these compounding issues through an integrative and effective therapeutic approach. Her passion lies in working with complex trauma, intense emotions, and addiction recovery. As a licensed psychologist (LP) and licensed addictions counselor (LAC), Jennifer is certified in EMDR and has received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Neuropsychology from Fielding University, along with a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Wilderness Therapy from Naropa University. Jennifer is dedicated to fostering an environment that is safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental, empowering her clients to explore their potential and achieve meaningful goals. When individuals are ready to embark on their journey toward feeling better, Jennifer is available to guide them every step of the way.
