Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is dedicated to supporting the health and nutrition of families in Berthoud, Colorado, by providing essential services free of charge to those who qualify. Our program focuses on delivering nutritious groceries, personalized nutrition consultations, and comprehensive breastfeeding support. WIC aims to empower pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as families with children under the age of five, by offering financial assistance to help supplement their food needs and providing educational resources on meal planning, healthy weight maintenance, and more. Additionally, we provide referrals for medical care, health insurance, and childcare, fostering overall well-being for families. Eligibility for WIC includes Colorado residents who are pregnant or breastfeeding or have young children, with household incomes that meet our guidelines. If you receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid, you are automatically eligible for WIC.
