Everyday Eats is a vital program in Berthoud, Colorado, offering essential food assistance through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) for seniors aged 60 and older who are facing food insecurity. Our mission is to enhance the health and well-being of low-income older adults by providing them with monthly food boxes filled with nutritious, non-perishable items such as protein, powdered milk, juice, cereal, fruits, vegetables, and cheese, along with valuable nutrition education and recipes. To ensure accessibility, we operate multiple distribution sites across the metro Denver area, employing dedicated staff and partnered agencies to facilitate the outreach and delivery of these food boxes. We serve a wide range of counties, including Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, and Jefferson among others, with homebound delivery options available in select areas. Eligibility is determined by age and income, ensuring that those who need help most can receive it. We are committed to ensuring that no senior goes hungry and invite eligible individuals to find a distribution site nearby and apply for our services.
