Community Food Assistance

Community Food Assistance is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Bayfield, CO, and throughout La Plata County. Our mission focuses on providing crucial emergency food relief to those most in need, including children, seniors, and families facing hardships. Each Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm, we host a drive-up food distribution where community members can receive essential food items without needing to leave their vehicles. Additionally, we offer home delivery services for those unable to transport themselves. We also provide diapers, wipes, and infant formula, depending on availability. Our food assistance programs are accessible to all residents of La Plata County, including Silverton, Mancos, and Dolores, ensuring that no one goes hungry in our community.
