Community Food Assistance

Community Food Assistance is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Bayfield, CO, and surrounding areas by providing accessible emergency food relief to those in need. We focus on supporting the most vulnerable members of our community, including children, seniors, and families facing economic hardships. Our services include convenient drive-up food distributions every Tuesday from 9 am to 1 pm, allowing residents to receive nutritious food without the need to leave their vehicles. For those unable to transport themselves, we offer home deliveries throughout the week, ensuring that no one is left behind. Additionally, we distribute diapers, wipes, and baby formula based on availability. Our food assistance programs are open to all residents of La Plata County, including Silverton, Mancos, and Dolores, as we strive to create a hunger-free community where everyone has access to the food they need.
