Carol Odowd, MDiv, MPA, MI, CAS, NLC, is a compassionate and experienced therapist who specializes in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, addiction, stress, grief, and loss. She is dedicated to guiding her clients toward realigning with their integrity and inherent strength to achieve the changes they aspire to. With a unique blend of Eastern and Western therapeutic techniques, Carol assists clients in transforming traumas and anxieties into actionable steps toward personal success. As an ordained Buddhist priest and former Chaplain, she also provides spiritual counseling. Her extensive experience in counseling and training prisoners in both the United States and Indonesia has deepened her understanding of how people often imprison themselves emotionally. Utilizing a variety of approaches, including Naikan, Morita therapy, Applied Existential Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as somatic and psycho-spiritual techniques, Carol empowers clients to shift from debilitating behaviors to healthy life practices that resonate with their true selves.
