Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a vital nutrition program located in Arvada, CO, dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children under the age of five. Our mission is to ensure that our clients have access to nutritious groceries, valuable nutrition education, and breastfeeding support—all at no cost to families who qualify. Through personalized nutrition consultations, we empower families with knowledge about meal planning, healthy eating habits, and managing picky eaters. Additionally, WIC offers financial assistance for healthy food to supplement what families already purchase, along with referrals to essential services including medical and dental care, health insurance, and child care. To be eligible for WIC, applicants must live in Colorado, meet specific income guidelines, and be pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a child under five. If you’re currently receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Food Stamps, or Medicaid, you automatically qualify for WIC.
