MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Whittier, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran in VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to diverse weight management services tailored to individual needs. Veterans can participate in group sessions, receive telephone lifestyle coaching, or use our TeleMOVE! system, which offers in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. We also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need additional support after engaging in the program.
