Dr. Michael Morrow is a licensed Psychologist who understands that these are challenging times for many individuals. Clients may be grappling with anxiety, stress, feelings of discouragement, or difficulties in managing close relationships. He enjoys collaborating with those who are motivated to implement positive changes in their lives. Common concerns addressed by Dr. Morrow include anxiety, mood disorders, low self-esteem, coping skills, and communication struggles. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. Morrow adopts a short-term, evidence-based approach to psychotherapy aimed at transforming self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. As a Diplomat of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and a former Chief of the Psychology Department at Ventura County Medical Center, Dr. Morrow has a wealth of experience, having also served as a Senior Psychologist for Ventura County Behavior Health and worked at various notable institutions, including the St. John's Hospital-ADHD Clinic in Santa Monica, Family Stress Center, and Juvenile Justice Department. His therapeutic approach integrates mindfulness, psychology, and theology, embodying a person-centered and strength-based methodology tailored to the unique needs of each client.
