Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program in Vista, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through the provision of nutritious foods such as milk, eggs, fruits, vegetables, proteins, and whole grains. In addition to emergency food assistance, WIC offers essential nutrition education, breastfeeding support, personalized nutrition counseling, and access to vital prenatal and pediatric health services. We welcome families to reach out and learn how to qualify for our supportive services and make an appointment to begin their journey toward better nutrition and health.
