Susan Martinez Lee

Susan Martinez Lee is a dedicated and experienced clinical social worker and therapist, proudly serving the community for over 25 years. Her mission is to guide individuals on their journey from striving to thriving, helping them manage the emotional burdens that life can often present. With seven years spent as a Bilingual Counselor in the Santa Barbara School District and over 18 years in her private practice in Ventura, CA, Susan has cultivated a rich skill set. She works with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, teens, and adolescents, as well as those in foster or adoptive situations, ages 13 to 95. Susan's expertise encompasses a variety of challenges, addressing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, overwhelming anger, and conflictual relationships, in addition to parenting issues. She also offers faith-based counseling for individuals drawn from Judeo, Catholic, and Christian backgrounds. Utilizing an approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused strategies, and Attachment Therapy, Susan is committed to fostering a supportive and healing environment. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she is a contract provider with Kaiser Permanente and provides Super Bills for clients seeking reimbursement through their insurance providers.
