Sommer Ware

Sommer Ware, a dedicated and compassionate marriage and family therapist (LMFT), embodies the essence of the words spoken by Forest Gump: 'Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.' Recognizing that life is a journey filled with various ups and downs, she understands how challenging it can be for individuals to share their deepest vulnerabilities. Thus, Sommer creates a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients, fostering a 'human to human' therapeutic relationship rather than an 'expert to patient' dynamic. With over five years of experience in community mental health, including three years in an intensive wraparound program, she has supported youth and their families in overcoming trauma, depression, and anxiety. Her diverse expertise extends to clients of all ages, including those navigating ADHD symptoms and adjustment challenges. Sommer is particularly passionate about empowering youth and equipping parents with essential skills to cultivate a nurturing environment in which children can thrive. Her overarching goal is to guide clients in processing their thoughts and feelings, helping them navigate overwhelming circumstances, whether rooted in the past or present.
