Evelyn Alcaraz, a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), is dedicated to helping individuals transform their narratives. As a first-generation college graduate, she understands the complexities of life and emphasizes that difficult experiences do not have to define one's identity. With extensive experience in public schools since 2015, Evelyn has supported elementary and middle school students with behavioral, social, and emotional needs, particularly those diagnosed with disabilities, to navigate their college journeys. She obtained her Master’s in Counseling and Guidance from California State University, San Bernardino in 2019, where she also teaches as an adjunct professor. Evelyn employs a blend of solution-focused and narrative therapy, encouraging clients to view their challenges as separate from their identity. Together, they can formulate and strive towards meaningful goals to reshape their narratives.
