FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center

FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center has been a vital lifeline for the Sylmar community since 1971, beginning as a food pantry and expanding its offerings to meet the urgent needs of our neighbors. Unlike typical food assistance programs that limit visits, FISH welcomes families to return weekly for a diverse selection of nutritious food tailored to their specific needs, including deliveries for seniors and individuals unable to travel. In addition to emergency food, we provide pet food, diapers, clothing, and hygiene products when available. As a comprehensive resource center, FISH connects individuals with essential services, from legal aid to secure parking, and guides them towards permanent housing solutions. Our partnerships with organizations like About My Father's Business enable us to extend our outreach directly to the unhoused community, while collaborations with groups such as Little Angels Project and VIDA Mobile Clinic enhance our service offerings. At FISH, we are dedicated to fostering resilience and support within the West Valley, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they require.
