Based in Simi Valley, CA, Home Delivered Meals offers vital nutrition to housebound seniors, ensuring they receive healthy meals tailored to their needs. Recognizing the challenges faced by older adults who may be unable to shop, drive, or cook due to age or health conditions, our program strives to empower individuals to remain safely in their homes. Each week, dedicated HELP of Ojai staff deliver nutritious meals five days a week and supply frozen options for weekends, providing consistent care and support. When a request for meals is made, we conduct an evaluation to assess additional needs, ensuring optimal health and wellness for our clients. While recipients are encouraged to contribute towards the cost of the meals, those facing financial hardships may receive assistance funded by generous donations specifically allocated for our Home Delivered Meals program.
