The Vance North Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) in Santa Monica, CA is dedicated to providing essential food assistance and nutrition education to low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County. Our mission is to uplift those in need by offering weekly food pantry services at four convenient locations, where clients can access pre-bagged groceries that feature fresh dairy, frozen meats, seasonal produce, and a variety of canned and dry goods, along with hygiene and cleaning supplies. To ensure equitable access, clients must complete an annual NOLP Eligibility Assessment, after which they receive a NOLP card that identifies them as program members. This card allows for easy access to our food pantries, so clients can shop for the nutritious items they need. If clients are unable to personally visit, they can authorize a friend to shop on their behalf with a simple note and their NOLP card. We are here to support our community with urgency and compassion, helping individuals navigate their paths to better health and stability.
