Located in San Marcos, CA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of women and children during these pivotal stages of growth and development. We offer essential services such as nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and monthly benefits to help families purchase nutritious foods. Additionally, we provide referrals to medical providers and other vital services, ensuring that those we serve have access to the resources they need. Our program is available to pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers for up to a year after childbirth, women who have experienced a recent pregnancy loss, and infants and children under five, including foster children. We also welcome fathers, grandparents, and caretakers who are eligible for healthy food benefits for their children.
