Food Distribution

In San Leandro, CA, the Oakland Catholic Worker is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity through our weekly food assistance program held every Thursday. We warmly welcome individuals and families from diverse backgrounds to receive bags or boxes filled with nutritious food, including fresh produce, bread, and a variety of staples sourced primarily from the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to essential emergency food, fostering a supportive environment where neighbors can rely on us in times of need.
