The Food & Nutrition Center in San Jose, CA, is dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Open five days a week, our food pantry allows clients to 'shop' for nutritious groceries, including fresh dairy and produce, empowering them to stretch their budgets while ensuring that their basic nutritional needs are met. We also prioritize nutrition education through engaging workshops, informative flyers, and delicious recipes, promoting healthy eating and smart shopping habits. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we have adapted our services to ensure safety, offering pre-bagged allocations of food and requesting donations of packaged items to maintain quality and support for our community.
