Delivered Meals in Salinas, CA, is dedicated to ensuring that no senior goes hungry in our community. We provide essential food assistance to seniors aged 60 and older who are unable to shop or cook for themselves, thanks to our devoted volunteers who deliver nutritious meals right to their doorsteps. Our service includes weekly deliveries of five- or seven-day supplies of frozen meals, carefully designed to meet the dietary needs of seniors, featuring balanced portions of protein, fruits, vegetables, and grains. This flexibility allows clients to choose their meals and enjoy them at their convenience, supporting their independence and well-being. Additionally, through our PetMeals program, we deliver pet food to seniors who need assistance caring for their beloved animals, with the support of the SPCA volunteers. Our main meals are delivered every Tuesday, while supplementary items are dropped off on Thursdays, and rural areas receive deliveries on Wednesdays. Although we request donations to sustain our vital service, we strive to serve every senior who requires our emergency food assistance.
