Jennifer Lombardi

Jennifer Lombardi is a dedicated and compassionate marriage and family therapist (MFT), certified eating disorder specialist (CEDS), and certified clinical trauma professional (CDWF), who has been serving the greater Sacramento area for nearly 15 years. With a personal understanding of recovery, she emphasizes the importance of effective treatment within a safe and healing environment. Through extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and her certification in Family-Based Treatment—a research-supported approach for adolescents—Jennifer is able to address complex family dynamics effectively. Her passion for family therapy and engaging experiential exercises fosters a nurturing space for healing. Notably, she has held the position of Executive Director at the Eating Recovery Center of California, co-founded the Sacramento Eating Disorders Program, and has contributed to the education of future therapists as a faculty member at CSU, Sacramento. As a unique professional in the Rocklin/Roseville area, she remains the only certified eating disorder specialist in private practice. Jennifer has also taken on the role of National Recovery Advocate for the Eating Recovery Center, providing crucial education for professionals, patients, and families. She is an esteemed member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
