Heather Noel Carey is a compassionate Marriage & Family Therapist dedicated to empowering individuals through the transformative power of thought. With deep empathy and a nurturing spirit, she skillfully connects with clients of all ages, including preteens, children, teens, and adults. Her extensive training in EMDR allows her to address trauma across the lifespan, while her heartfelt approach supports those grappling with grief, loss, and chronic illness. Having previously worked as a Medical Assistant in Oncology, Heather is acutely aware of the counseling needs of affected patients and their families. Currently honing her expertise under the supervision of a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, she adeptly incorporates play therapy techniques and expressive arts into her practice, fostering a safe and interactive therapeutic environment. Heather’s methods, including sand tray therapy and movement, culminate in family therapy sessions aimed at mending ruptures in family attachment. With a genuine desire to assist others through their healing journeys, Heather is committed to making therapy a positive and reassuring experience for all her clients.
