Dalia Merida

Dalia Merida is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who is board-approved through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. She embraces a relational, strengths-based approach to therapy, with a deep commitment to working with survivors of various forms of trauma, including experiences of violence, complicated grief, abuse, and childhood trauma. Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and possessing extensive training in Trauma-Informed Care, Dalia has successfully engaged with a diverse clientele from various socio-economic backgrounds, including Latinos, homeless individuals, and those struggling with addiction. In her therapeutic practice, she consistently seeks to foster hope, joy, and renewed enthusiasm for life. Dalia incorporates mindfulness and an existential approach, facilitating insight-oriented discussions around attachment styles and expressions of love. She encourages a holistic view of health, which embraces exercise, sleep, nutrition, spiritual practices, nurturing relationships, and enjoyable activities, emphasizing the importance of these elements in her clients' journeys toward healing. In addition to her therapy work, Dalia also manages a mental health program in the westside of Los Angeles.
