MOVE! Weight Management Program

The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Redwood City, CA is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing tailored referrals to various weight management services that cater to individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of support options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home assistance. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. In addition, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have previously engaged with MOVE! but continue to face challenges related to obesity.
