The Information and Referral Program at Fair Oaks Community Center proudly serves the residents of Redwood City, unincorporated North Fair Oaks, Woodside, Portola Valley, and Atherton by offering essential food assistance, housing support, and a range of emergency services. We understand the urgent needs of our community and provide vital resources, including shelter referrals, homeless assistance, utility aid, transportation support, crisis intervention, and assistance with public benefits. Our mission is to ensure that every individual and family has access to the necessary services for recovery and stability. We operate on a drop-in basis, welcoming our neighbors during office hours, while prioritizing safety and efficiency. As we navigate through the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, we encourage those seeking assistance to call ahead, as many services can be provided remotely, with in-person appointments available as needed.
