The Vance North Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) is dedicated to providing vital food assistance and nutrition education specifically for low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Pomona and the greater Los Angeles County area. Our initiative operates weekly food pantries at four convenient locations, where clients are welcomed to receive pre-bagged groceries that include fresh dairy products, frozen meats, seasonal produce, and a variety of canned and dry goods, as well as essential hygiene and cleaning supplies. To participate, clients complete an annual NOLP Eligibility Assessment and receive a NOLP card, which serves as identification for program access. Should a client be unable to shop personally, they may authorize a substitute shopper to assist, ensuring that everyone can access the nutritious resources they need without barriers. We are committed to supporting our community with the care and urgency essential in these times.
