Jean Scurria

Jean Scurria is a compassionate and skilled therapist specializing in clinical social work with a focus on individuals, couples, children, and families. She recognizes that the wounds we carry may lack words, often leading individuals to perceive themselves as broken or unworthy. In a society that often promotes self-help as the sole solution, Jean understands that many struggle with feelings of inadequacy, loneliness, longing, and regret. With a California teaching credential focused on reading remediation and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Jean brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. Beyond her professional life, she is a devoted parent to three wonderful individuals, once a fine arts student, and a lover of nature's tranquil spaces, all while embracing meditation as a practice for personal growth.
