At the Food & Nutrition Center in Palo Alto, CA, we are dedicated to providing vital food assistance to individuals and families in need. Open five days a week, our welcoming food pantry allows clients to thoughtfully 'shop' for a variety of nutritious groceries, including fresh dairy and produce, helping to alleviate food insecurity and stretch tight budgets. We prioritize health by offering workshops and resources that promote healthy eating and effective shopping habits. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure safety, providing pre-bagged allocations of food items at our distribution site in the CSA parking lot, with an emphasis on quality nutrition. We kindly ask all clients to wear a face covering during food pickups and to consider donating packaged goods during this time, as we continue our mission to support our community’s nutritional needs with care and compassion.
