Located in Pacoima, CA, FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center has been dedicated to serving the community since 1971 as a vital food assistance hub. Initially established as a food pantry, FISH has expanded its mission to meet the diverse needs of local residents by offering weekly access to nutritious food tailored to family sizes, ensuring that individuals can receive emergency food support more frequently than traditional pantries. Our comprehensive services also include food delivery for seniors and those unable to leave their homes, along with pet food, diapers, clothing, and hygiene products when available. FISH operates not only as a food assistance provider but also as a resource center, connecting individuals to essential services like legal aid, safe parking, and pathways to permanent housing. In collaboration with local partners, including About My Father's Business, we extend our reach to unhoused individuals, providing crucial support on the streets.
