Linda Ibitz

Linda Ibitz is a dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 25 years of experience in supporting children and their families. Her extensive work includes helping children in foster care, families formed through adoption, and individuals with histories of trauma, including domestic violence, abuse, and neglect. Linda has a particular expertise in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder who experience anxiety or other mental health challenges. Her experience encompasses assisting families going through separation and divorce. Dr. Ibitz employs modern developmental, relational, and trauma-informed models to guide her therapeutic assessments and interventions. She specializes in working with young children ages 0-6 and their families who encounter high levels of stress, trauma exposure, grief, loss, or disruptions in relationships. Furthermore, she offers valuable support to adopted children of all ages and any member of the adoption triangle, including birth parents and adoptive parents, by helping them understand their child's behaviors and emotions. Linda focuses on recognizing individual strengths and the vital role of relationships in fostering child development and enhancing the parent-child bond. She holds specialized training in Circle of Security Parenting, Adoption Competency, and Child Parent Psychotherapy, and is recognized in California as an Infant, Family, and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist for ages 0-5.
