MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Modesto, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and connected to the right support services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a variety of weight management options including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home guidance. Veterans also have access to the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management, as well as specialized interventions like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who continue to face challenges after engaging with MOVE!.
