At the Family Resource Centers in Modesto, CA, we strive to empower families by providing essential services and support tailored to their diverse needs. Our mission is to foster strong, nurturing communities through a comprehensive range of offerings, including assessment, resource referrals, family advocacy, and Medi-Cal health insurance enrollment. We are dedicated to enhancing family life with parent education, translation assistance for Spanish-speaking clients, mental health counseling, and support groups. Additionally, our outreach initiatives include community involvement and family events, along with vital services such as CalFresh application assistance, utility support, nutrition education classes, and emergency food and clothing resources. We recognize the importance of holistic support, which is why we also offer job search and résumé assistance, child development screenings, and health education. Most of our services are available at no cost, and our mental health services operate on a sliding scale, ensuring accessibility for all families in our community.
