Ann Steiner

Ann Steiner is a dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist who has had the privilege to work with adult clients seeking to transform their self-perception and enrich their relationships. With a passion for leading therapy groups, Ann finds that these sessions serve as the perfect remedy for feelings of isolation. She specializes in couples therapy, assisting clients in addressing and clarifying their relationship needs, as well as aiding adults who are navigating challenging life circumstances such as chronic illness, depression, and hidden disabilities. A pioneer in group therapy for the medically ill, Ann has successfully run several groups and is well-regarded for her expertise in helping individuals affected by chronic physical illness. As a notable national and international speaker, she brings extensive knowledge to her practice. With a background as a former Associate Clinical Professor at UC Medical School, San Francisco, she is a Certified Group Psychotherapist, Fellow and Board Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Society, and an elected board member of the International Human Learning Resources Network. With experience in the Northern California National Speakers Association and as faculty at The Psychotherapy Institute, Ann is committed to empowering her clients to live life to the fullest, rewrite their narratives, and overcome personal barriers.
