FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center, located in La Puente, CA, has been a lifeline for the West Valley community since 1971. Originally established as a food pantry, FISH has evolved to offer comprehensive food assistance, allowing families to access fresh, nutritious food weekly, tailored to their specific needs. Understanding that some community members are unable to visit, we also deliver food directly to seniors and those with mobility challenges. In addition to emergency food support, FISH provides essential services such as pet food, diapers, clothing, and hygiene products when available. Our mission extends beyond food assistance; we connect individuals to vital services including legal aid, safe parking, and pathways to permanent housing. Collaborating closely with partners like About My Father's Business, we address the needs of the unhoused community through targeted outreach. By partnering with organizations like Little Angels Project and VIDA Mobile Clinic, we enhance our ability to support those in need, making FISH a central hub for resource accessibility in La Puente and beyond.
