Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Huntington Beach, CA, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to promoting healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and children from birth to five years old. Our mission focuses on providing essential food assistance, which includes access to nutritious supplemental foods tailored to meet the dietary needs of our participants. We offer comprehensive nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and vital referrals to medical and community resources. WIC is committed to ensuring the health, growth, and developmental needs of families through its carefully designed programs that emphasize fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. By encouraging breastfeeding, we aim to foster strong bonds between mothers and their infants, providing them with the optimal nourishment they require during critical early years.
