Student & Community Services (SCS) in Hawthorne, CA, is dedicated to empowering charter school teachers, students, and families by promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being. We believe in supporting the community holistically, ensuring that students and their families have the resources they need to succeed in both education and everyday life. SCS offers a variety of essential services, including in-home counseling, food assistance through vouchers, parent advocacy classes, referrals to valuable resources, support groups, and clothing and utilities assistance. In addition, we provide critical mental health services and organize community-wide events that foster connections and solidarity. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where every individual can thrive.
